Questions owners ask
My campsite is already on your map. Why claim it?
Places on our map come from OpenStreetMap and show only what volunteers have mapped. When you claim yours (free), you add your booking link, confirm your season and details, and your page shows a "Listed by owner" badge. Optional Premium adds your photos, prices, a "Book direct" button and the "Verified owner" badge.
How do I prove I run the site?
Apply with the email address and website you use for the business. We check that they match the place before we approve the claim, and we may reply to ask a question.
Is it really free?
Yes, listing is free: claiming your place, your listings, click-outs to your site, enquiries by webhook or API, the dashboard and support. There is no commission. Optional Premium (£19 a month or £190 a year, cancel any time) adds emailed enquiries, your photos and prices on your place page, a "Verified owner" badge, a labelled Featured slot and per-listing stats.
Do you take bookings or payments?
Not from travellers, ever. Travellers click through to your own booking page, or send an enquiry that we forward to you. You take the booking and the payment, on your terms. The only thing we charge for is the optional Premium plan for owners.
Will this change OpenStreetMap?
No. Your listing is stored with us and shown next to the open data. If the map data itself is wrong (name, position, facilities), you can also fix it on OpenStreetMap, and everyone benefits.
Can I list a motorhome aire or a farm stopover?
Yes. Aires, stopovers and small sites are welcome, free or paid. If there is no booking system, link to the page that explains how to stay.
How long does approval take?
We check every application by hand, usually within 3 working days. When you are approved you get an email with a link to your partner dashboard.
Can I pause or remove my listings?
Yes, at any time, from your dashboard or through the API. Paused listings disappear from the site straight away. Premium can be cancelled from the dashboard in two clicks.
