Terms of use

Free for travellers

Campervan Atlas is free for travellers. You may browse, search and use the maps for personal trip planning. We never take bookings or payments from travellers. Owners can list free; optional Premium for owners.

Place information

Place data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always check signs, local rules, height limits and opening times on arrival. Where we say "not recorded", nobody has added that detail yet. Reuse of our place data is subject to the Open Database Licence.

Hire listings

Listings are supplied by partners. We are not a party to any booking or rental contract: you book with, pay and agree terms with the owner. Prices shown are "from" prices supplied by the partner, and the owner's site has the final price and terms.

Featured listings

Listings labelled "Featured" are paid placements by owners with Premium. They are shown separately from the results and don't change the order of the results.

Sample listings

Listings marked "Sample listing — not a real offer" are demonstrations. They can't be booked.

Premium for owners

Listing is free. Premium is an optional subscription for partners (campsites, rental companies and owners). It costs £19 a month or £190 a year. It adds emailed enquiries, owner photos, prices and a "Book direct" button on claimed place pages, a "Verified owner" badge, a labelled Featured slot on hire and campsite results pages, and per-listing statistics.

• Payment. Premium is paid in advance through Stripe, our payment provider. We never see your card details.
• Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. If we ever change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
• Cancelling. Cancel at any time from "Manage billing" in your partner dashboard (the Stripe billing portal). Premium then stays on until the end of the period you've paid for, and doesn't renew. Your free listing carries on.
• Refunds. If you subscribe as a consumer (for example as a private owner or sole trader acting outside your business), UK consumer law gives you 14 days from the start of the subscription to cancel and get a refund, less a proportionate amount for any Premium days you've already used. Otherwise, payments for a period that has started aren't refundable, except where the law requires it or we fail to provide Premium. To ask for a refund, contact us.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a short period and Premium stays on meanwhile. If it still fails, Premium ends and your listing returns to the free plan.
• Our obligations. Premium doesn't guarantee any number of views, clicks, enquiries or bookings. We may suspend Premium for a listing that breaks the data terms.

Acceptable use

Don't overload the site, scrape it at a rate that harms other users, or use the enquiry form for spam. Partners must follow the Partner API terms.
